In general, the memory is made up of blocks of consecutive memory, where each block is power of 2 in size. Each block could be either free or occupied, depending on if it is being allocated to the user. There are two types of dynamic memory allocation systems.
Allocate: Searches for a free memory block of size 2k, flag it as occupied and a pointer is returned to it.
Deallocate : Flag the older allocated memory blocks as free. When the block is deallocated, the system checks if it can be merged with other blocks or undo any splits that was done to make this block (Brodah, Demaine, Munro)
The importance of file deallocation is that it frees up the memory once the application has done with using the allocated space. Then the system releases the information from the memory and let the different program to use this memory. If deallocation doesnt take place on regular bases, there could be memory leak and cant be used by other programs or redistribution to other resources in the future. Or even the computer might start responding at slower rate since it would spend relatively longer time in finding the free space to launch programs.

Enterprise resource planning systems have become a critical tool for businesses over the past several decades. ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning and refers to software and systems used to plan and manage all the core supply chain, manufacturing, services, financial and other processes of an organization. The Software helps business to plan, budget, predict, and report on an organizations financial results. It can drive better decision-making that leads to more efficient processes and cost savings. There are three main types of ERP systems that function with different deployment model options. The most common types of ERP systems include cloud ERP, on-premise ERP, and hybrid ERP. My business uses on-premise and cloud-based ERP. Cloud ERP runs on a network of remote servers instead of inside a companys server room. A human resource management module is used in ERP. It has detailed records on all employees and stores documents like performance reviews, job descriptions and offer letters. It tracks not only hours worked but also paid time off like PTO or sick days and benefits information. Since the HRM module stores an amount of information on every employee across the organization, it reduces a lot of duplicate or inaccurate data that many organizations store in various spreadsheets. We also use customer relationship management module stores all customer and prospect information. That includes the companys communication history with a person. It improves customer service because staffs can easily access all the information they need when working with a customer.
