Whether it is a discussion post, an entry on Wikipedia, an Instagram picture, or a Tweet, our lives are increasingly digital and public. With this in mind, how does life in our digital age affect the choices you make?

One website I utilized was the Project Management Institute (PMI (Links to an external site.) ). PMI offers a lot of valid information to help you grow in project management. They post information that is accurate and concise with the community. If you are looking into the area of project management, PMI is the number resource I would recommend for knowledge on the career and industry.
Another excellent website I found online was www.glassdoor.com (Links to an external site.) . The information provided is very useful. However, I will say it isn’t as resourceful or accurate as PMI. However, I would not expect it to be. For what Glassdoor provides, it is an excellent free resource for any career searching and company reviewing that you would need to do.
Another example is
Two websites that provide detailed information about my career in Technical Management are PayScale and Learn.org. PayScale is a valid source because I found through the About page that the site is widely used by well known news companies, such as CNBC and The New York Times. The whole purpose of the site is to inform potential employers and employees of the correct compensation for every job position. The information provided about my career on this site was recently updated on July 16, 2019. The accuracy of the information is deemed to be very accurate based on their proven algorithm which has won them the award of G2 Crowd’s 100 Best Software Companies for 2018. Thus, the evidence of bias can be found based on their user reviews because that’s where they gain their data. Learn.org is a valid source because I found through the About page that this site is another widely used site for students and has been accredited by the BBB Accredited Education Consultant. The purpose of this site is to educate and provide resources for students to answer their academic and career inquiries. The information provided on the site was last updated since 2015 based on the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The accuracy of the information provided can be proven very accurate because the information was sourced from data compiled on BLS.gov which is a U.S. government website on Labor Statistics. As a result, the evidence for bias can be located based on the compiled data made by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Ultimately, I found these two websites to be credible resources that can provide me detailed information about my career opportunities in Technical Management.
