InstructionsThis week’s assignment allows you to examine a specific activity related to the learning scenario you’ve been working on since Week 2. You’ll share your findings in the Community of Practice for Instructional Design. The key to success on this project is to think narrow and comprehensive; that is, make sure you have narrowed down to a specific objective and then outline the methods to execute that work thoroughly. Using the same example as the introduction, your homework should focus on making the sandwich rather than the complete meal.Consult the examples in this week’s resources (e.g., Figure 4.1 in Brown & Green, 2015) and your lecturer if you’re unsure whether your assignment is limited enough. Make certain to address the following points:Establish a task analysis.Write a summary of the learning requirement you identified in Week 2.Give the assignment you’re looking into a name.List at least three prerequisite abilities or expertise that are required to execute the activity. In the case of the sandwich, pre-requisite knowledge could be understanding what peanut butter is, and a pre-requisite skill could be knowing how to spread anything on bread with a knife.Start with Step 1 and work your way through the steps required to finish the task.As a comment to the conversation “ID-5000 Week 4 Task Analysis” in the Instructional Design Community of Practice, share your task analysis (ID CoP). This week’s resources include a link to the website.Copy the ID CoP’s URL for your individual post and paste it into a Word document. This is the Word document that you will upload to Dropbox. While you are allowed to utilize this information in a Word document, you are also welcome to use alternative formats that may involve other skills you are developing. When in doubt, consult your professor first.Length: 1-2 pages, omitting title and reference pages; ask your professor for other formats.References: Cite and reference at least one scholarly resource in APA format.By giving new thoughts and insights relating directly to this issue, the task analysis should indicate serious assessment of the ideas and concepts offered in the course. The text should correspond to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy and reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
