Design an intentional/outcome-based recreation or leisure program plan. The program should be over a series of days or weeks (minimum of 6 sessions), it should not be a one-time special event or a camp. Proposals must demonstrate a reasonable price and value for the participants. Choose a recreation agency where your program could be provided. The plan should focus on designing a program initiative that focuses on the end results program participants are trying to achieve and reflects the host agency vision and mission. Agency should not be a school board.
All the “inputs” required for a program plan should be considered and explained. Supporting evidence (references) should be incorporated into the plan to support both the need for the program and the intended outcomes for the program. The program plan should be unique and innovative “thinking outside the box”, and it should have a plan for how participation will be encouraged and monitored throughout the program. Program ideas should reflect the needs and wants of the potential participants/target group.
Program ideas should focus on one or more of the following program areas: 1. Leadership development 2. Wellness and personal development 3. Arts and cultural activities 4.
