Williams, S. J., & Torrens, P. R. (2008). Introduction to health services (7th ed.). Clifton Park, NY: Thomson Delmar Learning.
1 Identify and describe one key health policy issue that currently impacts or will impact the organization and design of the U.S. health care system for the next 5-10 years. Address how your identified health policy issue is anticipated to impact (negatively and/or positively) important organization and delivery issues related to cost, access, and/or quality.
As we explore various current health policy issues that impact the organization and design of health care, I want to direct your attention to a couple of excellent health policy resources:
1.Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Explore the Health Systems section of their web site for a variety of policy related issues:
https://www.rwjf.org/en/our-focus-areas/focus-areas/health-systems.html
2.Kasier Family Foundation. You can find all sorts of policy issues related to Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, Private Insurance, etc.

Any directly quoted or copied material will result in a zero for the assignment.
