Instructions:
This course comprises a three-part project. Each section builds on previous knowledge to assist you in developing your professional identity as a nurse. The first section examines the nurse’s job and scope of practice, which will assist you in determining the nurse’s role. In the second section, you analyze the nursing practice standards for the role you are gaining during your nursing school, as well as your own beliefs, values, motivations, and experiences. The final submission requires you to use the first two parts of your assignment to construct your professional identity and pick a suitable professional organization to join in order to further your professional growth.
Content:
Prepare a two- to three-page written assignment using the following information:
The assignment’s introduction (the assignment’s sections: caring, professional identity, and professional organizations/associations)
Describe your nursing philosophy of caring (self, nursing, environment, and profession)
Describe your professional identity, including your beliefs, values, motivations, and accomplishments.
Describe one to two professional groups or associations in which you intend to participate during your nursing career.
Conclusion (consider the assignment’s criteria of caring, professional identity, and professional organizations/associations)
To back up your conclusions, use at least two reputable sources. A textbook, for example, could be one of the resources, as could the website of a professional organization or association. At least two in-text citations must be used to incorporate these resources into the body of your paper. Make sure to follow the APA guidelines for formatting and style.
Format:
a written assignment of two to three pages
Typical American English (correct grammar, punctuation, etc.)
logical, unique, and enlightening
