Research question / working title: How can findings in the study of consumer engagement in the circular economy be used in the field of social innovation for the repair of consumer electronics.
My thoughts behind this question (so that you have an idea what I was thinking of): I wanted to (but unfortunately didn’t get to) write about sustainability in handheld consumer electronics (so mobile phones, tablets, laptops etc.) and how their use could be made more sustainable in that people start reusing & repairing instead of replacing.
So therefore, I thought it a nice idea to evaluate how consumer have and can be motivated to participate in a more sustainable use of these products. So how can we engage with consumers in new and innovative ways to promote & encourage repair & reuse to get closer to accomplishing a circular economy.
PS. Should the number of pages I selected be insufficient to complete the paper please focus on the theory and Ideas & suggestions parts, and leave out the introduction and conclusion.
