To cite a quote parenthetically, use the author’s last name, year of publication, and page or paragraph number: (Smith, 2017, para. 10).
Follow-Up Post Instructions
Respond to at least two peers or one peer and the instructor. For this week’s peer response, let’s do a bit of role-playing. Choose a peer and pretend you are a professor who has just discovered a potential academic integrity violation. (This is, of course, not the case, but it is a fun experiment none-the-less!).
Review the Academic Integrity section (pp. 35-38) of Chamberlain University Student Handbook. Select a violation from the Violations of Academic Integrity section. Write a short message to the student explaining how the violation occurred, the potential solution, and/or punishment.
Examples
Note: If you see that someone has already received feedback from two peers, please choose to help a peer who has yet to obtain feedback.
