Student’s research and report on an early childhood collaboration, describing the purposes and outcomes of this collaboration and its benefit to the field. Through this research process, students will become more familiar with the types of collaborations that early childhood communities may participate in to benefit students and families. Purpose: The purpose of this key assessment is to broaden students’ understanding of community relationships and increase student awareness of programs in their early childhood communities that support better outcomes for young children and their families.
Early Childhood Collaboration Research Report Rationale: Communities – urban, suburban, and rural – are often strengthened by organizations, programs, and projects that collaborate to provide focused supports for key areas. Through this assignment, students will discover the types of collaborations in their communities and will analyze the impact such collaboratives can have on children and their families.
