Description of the question
A show called “Cold Justice” can be found on YouTube. Kelly Sigler is a former Harris County prosecutor who appears on the show. She and Yolanda Mcclary, a Crime Scene Investigator, travel to different towns with unsolved murder cases and rip into these cases that have been cold for years. Many of them are resolved within a week’s time. How? PAY ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS!
Because details matter in law, I’d like you to take a close look at what Ms. Sigler is doing to solve the case. She examines every facet of the situation, leaving no stone unturned. Her approach is straightforward but highly effective.
Assignment:
Find the show “Cold Justice” on YouTube (see link below). You may use any case study you want, as long as it is a case study. After you’ve chosen a case to examine, write your report by answering the following questions:
What is the name of the case?
What is the number of the episode?
Who was murdered and how was it done?
Who are the members of the family?
What are the case’s specific details?
What do the investigators know about the case?
Who are the people who are suspected in this case?
What information do you have on each of the suspects?
What information was given at the crime scene?
What method is used to eliminate the suspects from the board?
Who is the last person to be suspected?
If the case is solved, how will that suspect be apprehended?
What method does Ms. Sigler employ in order to solve the case?
Is the case now closed?
What specific details were discovered that aided in the case’s resolution?
Analyze how Ms. Sigler used each piece of evidence in taking a lesson away. Examine how she solved the case by employing the process of elimination and the process of every detail. THEN, talk about how you can apply these methods to critical thinking in the real world.FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS REPORT:
