Philippians for Chapter 3 Summary
In this chapter he begins to talk to two women leaders who goes by the name of Eudio and Syntyche who of which were in conflict to be unified ad work together and follow as well as go by Jesus’s humility. He also influenced the Philippians, to not give in to fear and despite the persecution to vent and tell all their emotions to God. In his closing Paul then gives thanks to the people of Philippi for embracing his teachings of Jesus as wells as the sacrificial gift they gave him. With the imprisonment and the poverty that he endured he realized that these were his greatest teachers. He has learned the secret of contentment which is basically the simple dependence on the one who strengthens him. In this last section he basically realizes that his life was basically a reenactment of Jesus’s life and that being close with Jesus is very persona and transformative.
