This project involves preparation of an analysis of a publicly traded company’s common stock. Your task is to analyze and critique a company, using financial statements, an analyst’s report(s), and other information, and then recommend the price ranges to buy, sell, or hold the stock.
You select a company to review and request me to approve that company by the end of week 1. The company must be a publicly traded company. The request must include:

company
- the source of the analyst’s report that will be used in the analysis (which must be
submitted to me)

The project includes reviewing a professional analyst’s report(s), examining analysts’ earnings and performance projections, reviewing the firm’s most recent annual Form 10-K report to the SEC and its annual report, and identifying and researching other sources of information about the company’s performance and outlook.
The requirements of the assignment include, but are not limited to, reviewing the following:

industry—”This section must include a comparative financial ratio analysis of the
company, including historical comparisons (trend analysis) and comparisons to
competitors and the industry (cross-sectional analysis).
