- I choose this picture to speak to the culture of the podcast. Podcast are used to have those racy conversations that are typically too controversial for normal main stream media. Podcast have more freedom of speech and are able to touch on topics that the general public would be afraid to express. An example of this is the recent events at ESPN, where the correspondent spoke on the issues of the current presidency and her job was then put on the line for the statements made because ESPN does not think political views should be spoke about on air. The podcast gives people like that ESPN correspondent the freedom to express her views without repercussion.
