Answer the following questions based on your findings:
After determining your personal cancer and cardiovascular disease risks, consider lifestyle changes (for example, adding physical activity and better nutrition to your to-do list) as well as your genetic risks (talk to your family members about your family health history). Which cancers put you at the greatest risk? What can you do to lower your chances? What can you do to lower your risk of cardiovascular disease and certain cancers?
In terms of diabetes, consider your risk factors, such as family history, diet, and exercise. What steps are you taking to avoid diabetes? What do you or someone you know do to keep diabetes under control? If not, consider what you could do to control or, ideally, reverse it.
Name one thing you learned about sexually transmitted diseases this week that was new to you.
How can you keep infections or chronic illnesses at bay? What are some ways you can lessen your exposure to toxins in the environment?
