Topic: Synthesis
Paper details:
Introduction – 1-2 paragraphs.
Topic – Mental Health In Patients With Parkinson’s Disease.
The three articles that need to be evaluated are attached. We have to use research and non-research evidence.
-Use a synthesis of research evidence and non-research evidence when writing this section of the paper.
-Write a one-sentence purpose statement. -Introduce the practice problem.
-Introduce the evidence-based intervention using research evidence.
As you critically review your 3 quantitative research sources, take note of the following: Do any researchers disagree with another author?
Does one researcher extend the research of another author?
Are the researchers all in agreement?
Does any researcher raise a new question?
Then, turn to the non-research sources (large data warehouses) that apply to your practice problem.
You will synthesize the non-research evidence with your research study evidence.
This combination of synthesis supports strong sentences.
In a summary, you share the key points from individual sources of evidence (research and non-research) and then move on and summarize another evidence source.
In synthesis, you need to combine the information from those multiple sources (research study evidence and non-research evidence) and add your own analysis of the overall evidence.
This means that each of your paragraphs will include multiple sources and in-text citations, as well as your own ideas and voice.
Synthesis requires that each citation has more than one citation present in each set of parenthesis.
