LD003 Harvard Abortion Scenario and Reflection Debate
Before submitting your Assessment, carefully review the rubric. This is the same rubric the assessor will use to evaluate your submission and it provides detailed criteria describing how to achieve or master the Competency. Many students find that understanding the requirements of the Assessment and the rubric criteria help them direct their focus and use their time most productively.
Download the LD003 Short Answer Assessment Submission Form template and answer each question.
Use the Ten Dimensions of Organization Climate table found on page 3 of How’s the Weather in Your Center, as needed, to inform your responses.
Download the Writing Checklist to review prior to submitting your Assessment. All submissions must follow the conventions of scholarly writing. Properly formatted APA citations and references must be provided where appropriate. Submissions that do not meet these expectations will be returned without scoring.
This Assessment requires submission of one (1) document: a completed “Short Answer Assessment Submission Form” template. Save this file as LD003_firstinitial_lastname (for example, LD003_J_Smith). When you are ready to upload your completed Assessment, use the Assessment Submission tab on the top navigation menu.
Grossmont Cuyamaca Community College District Criminal Justice Questions
Please discuss the following prompt: The Buddha was known to have said that if women had been allowed into the Sangha from the start, the impact of the Dharma would have only lasted half as long. What do you think he meant by this? Do you think the Buddha was against women, or were there other factors that the Buddha was addressing?
In your essays, I would like you to use at least two different peer reviewed sources to help substantiate your points. One of the sources should come from one of the assigned readings, and I would like at least one other source to come from outside our course texts. There are some great resources out there to help you find appropriate peer reviewed source material. One place to find some good journal articles is JSTOR (www.jstor.org).
I’d like you to avoid using websites, as often these are not the most reliable and lack peer reviewed status. When providing these sources, you must use the Chicago Manual of Style (CMS or Chicago Style). I will provide a useful guide on Blackboard for those of you who are unfamiliar with this style of referencing
I attached the readings and use another one from outside
Your essays will be graded on the following criteria:

- c) ability to engage critically and analytically with the topic
- d) evidence of creative thinking;
- e) correct annotation of sources and presentation of bibliography;
- f) correct spelling, punctuation and grammar
