2) Respond to two articles with 200 words each
Article 1
Leaders need to be creative and innovative because they are the ones who have to set an environment conducive to ideas being tested, ideas being developed, and the organization producing results. Creative and innovative leaders can be defined as the leaders who set an environment that encourages the people in their group to participate in the innovation process and make it their own. These leaders are not afraid to try new things and new processes to help the organization. They are always open to the ideas of their team members and do not limit ideas to what they know. Innovation and creativity are essential because they are the foundation of any organization, and if the foundation is strong, then the whole house will be substantial. The best type of leader that they should hire is a creative and innovative leader (Fallah et al., 2018). Not only should these people be hired, but leaders should work to transform their direct reports into creative and innovative leaders. A leader must focus on creating an environment conducive to ideas being tested, ideas being developed, and the organization producing results. This is where direct reports of creative and innovative leaders come in. These individuals should be encouraged to take ownership of their ideas, which becomes part of the organizational culture. Direct reports should then take their ideas and present them to their boss for review and feedback to determine if they are valid. This should be done because it is the responsibility of the leader to create an environment conducive to ideas being tested, ideas being developed, and the organization producing results. They must be creative and innovative to produce those things in their organization.
