The purpose of the individual assignment is to investigate the sustainability from HRM perspective in the 21st-century. This investigation will be linked to the context of the UAE, as the government of Abu Dhabi, took the commitment as part of its economic vision 2030 to focus on four key priorities and one of them is Social and Human Resources Development. Thus, the initiative emphasizes on sustainability elements on why sustainability is important in HRM globally and how these elements affect the HRM practices locally, especially in the UAE. The linked between the global HRM issues and the local perspective of HRM will provide an in-depth understanding on the know-how of HRM functions among students.
