Risk reduction happens when the key stakeholders are not on the same page. It also helps research the challenging issues earlier before the risk causes damages to the company as well as the project.
Project Closing
The project closing process is always overlooked by many project managers and tend to only focus on the deliverables completed as per the cost and time objectives. The failure to conduct project close out can lead to increased amount of risks, it will also prevent the organization from realizing the benefits forecasted in regard to the deliverables and also undermine the credibility of the project. Successful people and teams tend to learn from their mistakes and mistakes of other people, therefore, we all need to address the underlying issues that we meet so as to reduce repeating of errors from earlier experiences. The discovery process is crucial and success of projects is detrimental in that we have to work as a team to maximize the benefits based on the information we have.
