Part 2 (Find a Featured Speaker): As you browse through you will see that these events will feature a speaker or multiple speakers. Find a speaker and then find them on LinkedIn. If you cannot find them on LinkedIn, then move on to someone else or even another event in the article. Grab that Linked In Link.
Part 3(Find Follow Up and Summarize Info on Speaker/Company): Learn more about the featured speaker. Search the internet and find ‘something else'(article, video, podcast, etc) where this person was featured OR their company was featured. The purpose of this is to find something that helps you learn more about this person AND/OR the company they work AND/OR the work they do in ‘marketing’. Summarize what you discovered in 4-6 sentences.
Part 4(Find Follow Up Info on Conference Topic): For this part, search the internet for some type of additional MULTIMEDIA(podcast, video) on a specific TOPIC of the conference. For example, “Social Media Marketing” might be one of the topics covered. You would then search the internet to find something about ‘social media marketing’ where you can learn more about it. It could include the person you chose or just be about the topic in general. Summarize what you discovered in 4-6 sentences.
Part 5: Compose an email to me containing the following:
a) Subject Line: Week #8 Related Assignment
b) In the body of the email, include the following for full credit
– Part 1: The EVENT you chose – Insert the Name & Link
