PART 2 OF THE RESEARCH PROPOSAL: RESEARCH METHODS Week ten is the deadline.
The goal of this assignment is to improve skills in data collecting, qualitative data analysis, stationary and time series data analysis, and hypothesis testing by selecting and using methodologies.
Parts A and E are universal across all Research Approaches. From Part B to Part D, just use the elements that are relevant to your research technique.
A. Data collection: Determine which sources will provide you with the information you require to solve the research question (journals, books, internet resources, government documents, people, etc).
1. How will you collect data to address your study question? Why? What tools, variables, materials, or sources will you utilize (for example, observations, surveys, interviews, case studies, focus groups, experiments, documents, media, database searches, and so on)? Will you employ sequential, concurrent, or revolutionary mixed approaches if you decide to use them? Why?
2. Make a list of the types of data/information you intend to gather (for example, testimonials, statistics, business/government reports, other research data, audio/video recordings, and so on). Also, think about two or three different ways you could collect data/information for this study.
3. Where will your research volunteers come from if you plan to employ them? What method will be used to sample them? How many people do you think you’ll need? Who will you utilize as your data’s target audience if you don’t use study participants? Who, and why, would the most benefit from your research?
4. Topics for business study are related to events that occur across time.
Describe how you would obtain a snapshot of data that is relevant to your research question. The data effectively becomes stagnant within the snapshot.
Take a look at how data changes over time. How would you go about getting the time series data you need for your study?
5. Will your study endeavor raise any ethical concerns? What biases do you think you’ll bring to the study, and how will you deal with them?
B. Stationary data analysis
1. How are you going to examine the stationary data you’re going to collect?
2. Has this data analysis strategy been used by other writers in comparable situations? Include references and illustrations from the literature to demonstrate the method’s benefits and drawbacks.
3. Include a worked-out example of the method’s application using simulated or previously published data in the appendix.
4. How will your findings/conclusions be validated?
C. Putting assumptions to the test
1. Make a list of your hypotheses.
2. Explain and justify whether your hypotheses will be examined using a frequentist or Bayesian approach.
3. Have other authors investigated comparable hypotheses? References and illustrations from the literature should be included.

1. Which method will you use to analyze and forecast the time series data you’ll be collecting?
2. Have other authors used these data analysis and forecasting methodologies in similar situations? Include citations and illustrations from the literature to demonstrate their benefits and drawbacks.
3. Attach examples of analysis and predictions that have been worked out using simulated or already released data.
4. How will your findings/conclusions be validated?

Or the student failed to submit a final paper. 5 out 20 points: Sources are seldom cited to support statements and/or format of citations are not recognizable as APA 6th Edition format. There are major errors in the formation of the references and citations. And/or there is a major reliance on highly questionable. The Student fails to provide an adequate synthesis of research collected for the paper. 10 out 20 points: References to scholarly sources are occasionally given; many statements seem unsubstantiated.
