For this assignment, you will prepare brief talking points to interview questions, for the position of a Gender Affirming Communication Expert. Before you tackle this exercise, please read the course materials for Weeks 1 and 2. Objective: To demonstrate a thorough understanding of course contents in Weeks 1 & 2 which focused on gender communication, gender roles, gender-identity development, and terminology helpful to this field of study.
A newly created position was recently posted in your organization: Gender Affirming Communication Specialist, Level 3 administrator. The position was created following successful legal action by an employee who claimed that they were discriminated against because of their gender. The successful applicant will report to the Director of Human Resources. Your application has been favorably received.
You will be interviewed next week by a panel consisting of the Director of Human Resources, a cisgender female two employees who fall under the transgender and gender queer umbrella a cisgender male who is VP of marketing a cisgender female who is Director of Public Relations the corporate attorney (gender status undisclosed) who manages gender-based grievances All interviewees will be asked the same questions.
