Crash, a multi-cultural story about how lives CRASH together, was released in 2004. This film, which was made 16 years ago, is very relevant today, especially now. Your task is to watch the movie in its full, answer the questions using examples from the movie and principles discussed in class, and acknowledge that what you’ve learned is critical to effective and proper communication. In this film, you’ll learn how communication may help or hurt relationships.
If you are unfamiliar with the film, its character names, or the language, I HIGHLY recommend that you google the film, get a feel for the names BEFORE watching it, and watch it with closed captioning/subtitles. This is an R-rated film. This contains content that is not appropriate for youngsters under the age of seventeen. Please contact me via private email if you are under the age of 17.
In this film, there is a lot going on. Emotions will also play a significant role, so be sure to assess your emotional intelligence. With a critical eye, watch for ways to apply what you’ve learned in class to specific scenes.
I do not have permission to give you a copy of the film because I do not own the rights to it. You can look for a free copy on streaming services and websites or acquire one from a rental business. This film is normally shown in class, and it will be part of this week’s classwork time.

8th question List five terms from the movie that could have been replaced with a more acceptable word for effective / appropriate communication. 9th question Choose one scene to demonstrate how principles from the chapter readings and lecture are used to portray communication within friendship. You must describe the characters, the content and setting of the conversation, as well as the outcomes. Is the friendship between these people stronger or weaker at the end of the movie?
