Doctoral Research Work Plan Assignment
A- Introduction
A research project, creative, comprehensive and exciting.
It will be the greatest achievement of my career, supported by video stories, documentaries, radio materials and short fiction.
Based on several scientific research methods, but it is an approach in itself that would be The Most Powerful Platform for the Voiceless, connecting refugees with decision makers and is so unique that it will continue to circulate among people rather than lie on forgotten desk shelves.
B- Proposed Mode of Research
Convey to the world what it means for Arab youth, with Scientific Competencies and Professional Experiences, the hardship of illegal immigration, breaking into the waves of death at sea, defying climate factors and sleeping in the open areas in order to realize safety in the countries of Europe.
Knowing that in their countries, there are capabilities in addition to wealth that enable them to build a great civilization.
However, their greatest problem lies in the fact that they were born in countries governed by oppressive, criminal, tyrannical, thieves, murderous regimes, who lack the slightest elements of justice and humanity.
Furthermore, these regimes will remain so as long as nothing will stand in their way and no revolutions capable of overthrowing them, because the youth of these countries have left them to the countries that love freedom and respect human justice, realizing human values that includes but not limited to believing work and opinion are right for everyone.
In addition, extend the best of effort to help and support everyone and keep calling to have all equals as well as no one suffer injustice.
What are the main challenges facing immigrants in their new communities to achieve full integration?
Perhaps the reservation they brought with them from their homeland in exchange for the openness, freedoms and respect for human rights that characterize European societies.
How can they overcome all of these challenges?
I will provide answers to all these questions and document my experiences in writing, audio and video, in this unique research that no one has preceded me.
What I do during the years of study is media coverage in a creative way that depends on the visual narrative and documentary, so that it is dominated by suspense and motivation for the interaction of the public and public opinion with the research project and formulating solutions to problems and challenges.
Media coverage in a research format is of great importance, especially since public attitudes towards immigration reflected in and influenced by the news; However, research also demonstrates that the ‘real world’ political and policy context conditions how news accounts are received and read (Boomgaarden, 2007; Boomgaarden & Vliegenthart, 2009).
Whilst the impact of the media on public ideas, perceptions and attitudes are difficult to disentangle from other causal factors, the research literature suggests that the greater ‘visibility’ an issue (such as asylum or immigration) has, the more significant the effects of the media coverage are likely to be (Koopmans, 1996).
This is especially the case when the ‘information environment’ (of which the news is a part) presents a message which is consistently biased in one direction (e.g. negative towards migration and/or migrants), or which cumulatively ‘cultivates’ attitudes or expectations about a particular subject (Gerbner, Gross, Morgan, Signorielli, & Shanahan, 2002; Vergeer, Lubbers, & Scheepers, 2000). The media effects research has also found a greater likelihood of violence being perpetrated against cultural ‘others’ who are represented as either the perpetrators (Scheufele & Brosius, 2001), or victims of violence (Esser & Brosius, 1996). C- Work Plan
1- Intending to produce two video stories per week, along with six stories every three weeks.
These short reports will be more like documentaries. I will submit them in three formats, a video, an audio for podcasts and the radio, and as a short novel, all of which I will combine in one research volume full of novels and written in a narrative form that makes it a desirable for reading in all segments of society, not just the academic community.
In the fourth week of the same month, I will produce a complete video documentary film that collects the three stories I produced during the last three weeks and published them on social media pages and my own website.
That means six short video stories about immigrant youth from the Middle East and Asia every month, and a documentary, not to mention short stories written in a very interesting narrative way, and audio files to broadcast on podcasts and radio.
I will gather opinions, analyze, evaluate and publish them within a written, filmed, and audio creative research at the same time, followed by an integrated documentary film, I will continue this way every month, for four years, in a detailed plan during my doctoral studies at the university.
Written research parts consisting of real-life narratives, documentary film on monthly basis in order to form a unique and out-of-the-ordinary doctoral thesis, containing hundreds of video stories, hundreds of written chapters, hundreds of voices who trapped behind bars of injustice, until their talents came out after their arrival in the Europe.
2- Immigration Radio
I will lead a radio project for immigrants, which will facilitate keeping in touch with the immigrant youth and their daily lives, their achievements, the challenges they face in the diaspora, their aspirations for the future and how they can from their remote position, contribute to building what wars and corrupt governments destroyed in their countries.
P.s.
This item is already prepared since I am holding discussions with colleagues who have taken refuge in several European countries to establish the radio, and after several weeks, we intend to start broadcasting.
