You must choose the most appropriate audience, manner of communication, and evidence to present your argument and persuade people to agree with you, regardless of the context.
Include at least one concrete example of effective persuasion from your own experience or production in each of the first three paragraphs to illustrate your views. Based on the ideas taught in the Module 1 reading, describe the example, identify the aspects of the rhetorical situation (audience, speaker, text, purpose, and context), and provide specific reasons why the example was effective. As you develop your analysis, you might incorporate information on tone, style, formality, voice, correctness, evidence, and word choice. The relationship between teamwork and persuasion will be discussed in the fourth paragraph.
