This assignment asks you to consider, ‘what does it mean to be an effective manager in a diverse workforce?’ It requires you to read and synthesise information from current research articles in order to write an informed response.
Rationale: Why is this important?
(1) The contemporary workplace is diverse, global, and constantly changing. Effective managers understand their personal style of leadership in order to lead and manage employees from diverse backgrounds.
(2) This assignment task will help you develop your skills in research, critical thinking and evaluation. You will also develop your ability to analyse your response to key concepts/issues in a reading and communicate your ideas clearly in a short piece of academic writing.
