Our solution is a “ride together app’’ for university students. More specifically an app that consists of the recent integration of a coach network and commuter carpooling service so it can provide university students the ability to travel together by car to different locations. The concept of this app is to connect students that are looking to travel long distances with drivers heading the same direction, which results in that they can travel together and therefore share the cost. Additionally, this eliminated the optional planning process the customers need to do before traveling since riders will not be worried about searching for bus and trains to get home. Further, This app can help students get to know each other better and make friends while securing rides home safely. All university students can sign up as a driver or a rider depending on what the customer is aiming to achieve. To ensure safety there will be a requirement of identification of all riders, the riders will also have the ability to share their journey. The customer will also be able to provide with any special preferences through the app, such as the need of a female driver, pets etc (improve).
