I believe that tapping phones are helpful because they can help find missing kids, help solve murders, and identify terrorists. According to Global Missing Kids Org, in the United States, an estimated 460,000 children are reported missing every year. As a mother of two kids, that’s a very sad statistic. With the government tapping phones, this helps to track conversations of people trying to kidnap kids for sex trafficking.
The government can listen to where possible locations of sex rings are and make arrests.
