Overview of the Task
Information from social media is readily available to the general population in the twenty-first century. As a result, public sector human resource managers face additional issues in determining how social media information should be used and disseminated inside the business. Furthermore, public sector organizations must now adopt consistent and equitable policies governing employees’ usage of social media during and outside of work hours.
Because of the rapid progress of technology and the widespread use of social media, the limits between personal and professional use are frequently blurred, and regulations must remain current and relevant. To design an acceptable use policy for this project, you will use material from your study and your interview with a public sector leader from your Unit 9 topic.
Assume you’re the human resources director for a small government organization. You can’t find any mention of social media information dissemination or permitted use in your agency’s HR policies. Create an acceptable usage policy for a fictional or real-life organization of your choice.
