Purpose
The graded topics for this week are related to the following Course Outcomes (COs).
CO 1: Investigate the evidence-based sources that support professional nursing practice. (Number 7)
CO 2: Interpret the findings of published research studies using research principles. (Positions 4 and 8)
CO 4: Assess the reliability and significance of published nursing research in relation to evidence-based practice. (Positions 4 and 8)
CO 5: Understand the significance of research findings in evidence-based practice. Discussion (PO 7 & 8)
The interpretation of meaning from research findings leads to application and implications for practice. A BSN graduate is expected to communicate and use research evidence.
Choose and explain one of the conclusions from the Week 6 assignment’s required article that you found intriguing and useful to practice. Explain how you would use the evidence to improve nursing care. Give an explanation for your response.
Disseminate research-based evidence in many ways; how would you share it with your peers? Include your reasons for becoming involved in the communication and application of nursing research evidence.
