Using a multinational organisation of your choice as a case history, you are asked to write a report examining their International HRM strategy, focusing on TWO different countries of your choice that this organisation is present. For your report you have to cover the following:
Overview of each country and each country’s culture.
Overview of their business environment both nationally and internationally.
Challenges that the HR department of the multinational might face in each country and its importance for the organisation’s performance.
You should also consider if their strategies are aligned with key trends identified in the international human resource management area and with the competitive business strategy of the chosen company. The areas of IHRM you might want to deeper examine are: Recruitment
- selection, Cross-cultural training, Training & development, Employment relations, Performance Management and Reward Policy.
You should acknowledge your sources through referencing in the text, provide a references list and use a recognized standard such as Harvard System of Reference.
