Vision is one of the most potent forces at work in the universe. Vision is the driving force behind every personal, corporate, and societal success. The transformation and development of the world has resulted in the development of vision. Amazing visuals were used all over the world to usher us into the twenty-first century. One could clearly see the impact of vision and (unfortunately) the lack of it in everything from technology and communication to business management and corporate leadership, politics and spirituality, academics and industries. Vision is the key to success in all walks of life. “Where there is no vision, the people perish,” according to the scriptures. To progress, we would need vision if we had gotten to where we are today because of it. Our inability to see the big picture would also mean that we wouldn’t be able to reach our full potential. Purpose and vision are intertwined at all levels, from the personal to the corporate, and from the societal to the global.
It must be acknowledged, however, that vision can only be realized with the right materials or tools. This means that having a vision is one thing, but knowing the right materials required to make it a reality is quite another. The person, company, or nation that is most frustrated is the one that has a vision but lacks the resources to make it a reality. Vision is a powerful tool, but it can only be used to its full potential if the right materials are used. A building’s ability to stand on its own two feet is dependent on a wide range of resources and building materials. Building plans dictate which materials will be used, but the materials themselves determine the building’s value and aesthetics. Building a four-bungalow structure would use different materials than building a skyscraper. Despite the fact that they are all buildings, the materials used to construct them all differ.
A material is a resource if it is relevant to a specific structure. This means that even if a bridge can be built with the same resources, a hut can’t be built with the same resources. Resources are therefore viewed in this light. In the pursuit of a vision, this principle holds true. Resources that are relevant to the vision are the foundation of that vision. When a material is only relevant to your vision, it becomes a resource. The beauty, worth, and future of many people’s visions have been held hostage by false materials that they mistook for resources.
Information and people are now, for example, two crucial resources for realizing your visions.
Isolated visions are impossible to achieve. Every achievable goal revolves around information. That being said, it must be acknowledged that not all information is useful in the realization of a given vision. An individual must be careful in his selection of relevant information. The information is a resource for your vision because it is relevant to achieving your goals and vision. With this knowledge, we can seek out the most relevant information for realizing our vision.In the pursuit of a goal, people are wonderful. Achieving anything in life is impossible if you try to do it all by yourself. A team at every level of your vision was essential for your success. But this does not imply that you require everyone. You’ll need certain people at certain points in time to carry out a specific phase of your vision. If you don’t know this and aren’t very picky about who you surround yourself with, you may end up with a team that works against your vision rather than for it.
My mentor once told me a story about how he left an MBA program because of a single lecturer’s poor teaching methods. That fateful day, the professor walked into the classroom and announced that he would be teaching the students how to make money. It’s ironic that he never had the appearance of someone who could make or have money just by looking good. Consequently, you cannot give me what I do not have, said my mentor. Consequently, he left and enrolled in another course. My mentor’s vision didn’t necessitate the presence of that professor, but he was nonetheless excellent. If you want to achieve your goals, don’t just gather a bunch of people; instead, look for those who are relevant. Their usefulness as a resource is a result of their relevance to your goals.
