A data model represents the data and the relationships between the tables and data fields. It is also provides a graphical representation of the database and its relationships. It also outputs the data dictionary. Data warehouses makes it possible to store data from different databases. It facilitates accessing data from several databases after one query(search). All of these are similar because they must be able to understand and manipulate data. We should be healthy and look healthy; healthcare professionals should not be obese, smoke, use drugs, drink excessively, etc. Patients view us as the healthcare specialists, which should mean we take care of ourselves the best. We need to find a way to explain to our patients how important this is and make it stick. We make it stick by showing examples of unhealthy living and its consequences. There should also be positive examples and testimonies to how a person’s life can change drastically by making a few adjustments in their diet and their activities. Some of the strategies used are to create a healthy office meaning we should be role models for patients that come see us. Healthcare providers have credibility, and when your provider tells a patient they need to make a change, most patients will listen. We could also make process changes to how we do things or how we go about seeing the typical patient such as verifying their body mass index, ask about diet, sleep, and other lifestyle questions like we would ask about family history. Use teachable moments like a bad blood test result to enforce the need to change of lifestyle. We should also follow up with our patients to see how they are progressing with the changes implemented. I am the medic for my unit and I am also the command fitness leader. People look to me for advice on workouts and diets all the time. I try to promote fitness by consistently going to the gym and staying active.

A healthy lifestyle includes many different things, that includes the diet that we have, the physical workout that we include in our life and not only that, but we have to include an emotional/mental state. When we have an emotional/mental state that is healthy and on track then we can provide a good thinking process to have a good physical diet, and a physical exercise routine. When we provide support around us than things can be easier to accomplish and achieve these types of goals.
Every person’s healthy living can be different. One person can have a healthy living when they just have the essentials out of life, like a roof over their head, food, and safety. While others can look at their healthy living when they have money, safety, a big house, and a new vehicle. So, depending on the personal situation it can vary on what that person’s healthy lifestyle is. Some primary strategies would be having a good mind set, setting goals, and taking it day by day. Doing what is best for yourself to make sure you are achieving a good lifestyle for yourself. Doing those things first I think is the most important thing that you can do.
