In any case, I will create an assignment on Blackboard soon where you can upload your final paper. I will, of course, send you a reminder with finalized details in due time. For now, I will say that your essay should be double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font, and in MLA format. Please observe the page range: you know by now that this is part of the assignment. The topic you will choose to address is exclusively up to you. There will be no essay prompts. You are free to focus on any of the texts included in the syllabus, excluding the ones you focused on in your two short responses. Finally, you can either offer a critical discussion of just one text, or you can engage in a comparative analysis of up to two different works we’ve read this semester. I recommend the former, but, if properly done, the latter can be extremely rewarding too.
