Hello, I’m working on a case study and a PowerPoint presentation for the chosen corporation, Johnson and Johnson.
10 page PPT Guideline
8-10 page case study
Guidelines for Case Studies: Select a company to investigate. The company can be publicly traded or privately held, and it could be one you are familiar with (but not your current employer). The following are the most important factors to consider while selecting a company for your case study:Is it very simple to study the company? Is there a lot of information about the company’s inner workings?
Is it a firm you’re interested in and/or a product or service you like? (It’ll be more enjoyable this way.)
Is the business noteworthy? (Perhaps they’ve had a spectacular failure, a legal snafu, or they’ve just released a killer product that everyone wants.)
Post your company to the final case study paper discussion topic – week 4 once you’ve chosen one. No two students will be allowed to choose the same company, and approval will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. In the case of a large, multi-line or multi-product organization, you may wish to focus your investigation on a single business line. For example, if you worked for Apple, you would focus solely on the iPhone business, and if you worked for Google/Alphabet, you would focus solely on the driverless car project. Within a huge, diversified company, focusing your business research on one business line will be significantly easier.
The length of your final case study paper should be 8-10 pages, including 5 sections (each about 1.5-2.0 pages).
The first section should include a firm overview:
What does the business do?
What service or product does it provide?
What is its location?
Who are the company’s biggest rivals?
What market structure do you have (for example, pure competition, monopoly, oligopoly, etc.)?
How is it governed?
In order to support the rest of the paper, this initial section should provide a background or baseline understanding of the company.
The following should be included in the remaining four sections:
Consumer behavior (purchasing power and substitution impact), targeting, switching cost, positioning, price elasticity of demand (demand determinants), interpreting income, and advertising elasticity are all examples of supply and demand analysis in Chapter 3.Value in use/value based pricing (product specifications, ease of use, service frequency, change order responsiveness, loyalty programs, and empathy in order processing), couponing, bundling, price discrimination, and price skimming versus full-cost pricing are all examples of pricing analysis in Chapter 14.
A What they Got Wrong analysis that uses the course topics to detail a strategy error.
An study of “what they got right” in terms of a strategy win based on the course topics.
If you’re having problems answering or gathering information for any of the parts above, you can supplement your analysis by stating what you believe the company should do. If you can’t locate any information on your company’s value-based pricing, for example, describe how and why you would price the product or service. This is Organizational (managerial) Economics; make some decisions for your firm and back them up with concepts and ideas from the course!
The purpose of this paper is to show that you understand the principles presented in this course and can apply them to a real-world situation.Remember to use the usual APA citation style to document or source borrowed research. It is not required to quote extensively (and not additive to your grade). Cite the source, but explain the notion or method in your own words as much as feasible. If you locate a terrific article about your company’s pricing strategy, for example, explain the article and themes in your own words and cite the source. Long stretches of text should not be clipped and pasted.
The paper should be 8-10 pages long, double-spaced, and written in Times New Roman, Calibri, or Cambria type in size 12 font. Week 12’s final paper is due on Sunday.
Sections of the document (in bold):

Case defines supply and demand analysis as encompassing, but not limited to, customer behavior (purchasing power and substitution impact), targeting, switching costs, positioning, price elasticity of demand (demand drivers), interpreting income, and advertising elasticity.Pricing Analysis: The case identifies pricing analysis concepts such as value in use/value based pricing (product specifications, ease of use, service frequency, change order responsiveness, loyalty programs, and empathy in order processing), couponing, bundling, price discrimination, and price skimming versus full-cost pricing, among others.
