Robbery Report
I responded to both locations regarding a robbery. Upon arrival to the primary location, I met with Detective Jackson (IBM 2356) who stated the above victim was attacked by unknown person(s). The victim’s vehicle was a 4 door: gold Nissan Sentra bearing Florida tag CGI887. The vehicle was faced on the south side of SW 215th Street. I observed the victim’s hair piece in the grass south of his vehicle. I also observed his eyeglass case in the grass with suspected blood on the case. Photographs were taken of the exterior of the vehicle at the scene. I collected the hair piece and the eyeglass case and secured them in my crime scene van.
I later responded to Mercy Hospital to document the victim. The victim had visible injuries to his face, neck, and head. I observed suspected blood on the victim’s hands, face, neck, and head. He also had a white bandage wrapped around his head. Photographs were taken of his injuries.
After leaving JMH, I responded to the Miami Dade County Auto Pound Annex (11900 NW 27 Ave) to process the vehicle. Photographs were taken of the interior and exterior areas of the vehicle. The exterior and interior areas of the vehicle were processed using black powder. The following latent cards were obtained from 1) exterior surface from driver’s door panel; 2) exterior surface from the left rear passenger’s door window; 3) exterior surface from right rear passenger’s door; 4) exterior surface from the right front quarter panel; 5) exterior surface from trunk; 6) interior surface driver’s door window; and 7) interior surface from the left rear passenger’s door frame.
The following DNA samples were collected from 1) exterior surface of the driver’s door handle; 2) exterior surface of the left rear passenger’s door handle; 3) exterior surface from the right front passenger’s door handle; 4) exterior surface from the right rear passenger’s door handle; 5) interior surface from the driver’s door handle; 6) interior surface from the left rear passenger’s door handle; 7) interior surface from the right front passenger’s door handle; 8) interior surface from the right rear passenger’s door handle; 9) exterior surface of the glove compartment; 10) rearview mirror; 11) steering wheel; and 12) gear shift.
The following suspected blood samples were collected from 1) left rear passenger’s door; 2) driver’s floorboard panel and 3) Krass collection eyeglass case.
The DNA, suspected blood samples, hair piece and eyeglass case were turned into property unit.
