As you near the completion of your program, it is important to prepare
for entering the job market in your chosen career field. The job
application process typically involves submitting a resume, a cover
letter, and an interview. In order to help you prepare for future job
interviews, you will conduct a potential employer interview. Follow
these steps: Find a hiring manager working in your chosen field
(contact your major adviser for suggestions if you do not personally
know anyone). Contact the person to be interviewed, explain why you
are calling, and ask them if they would be willing to answer a few
questions for you about their profession. The interview should be

(Links to an external site.) Select 10 questions from the 30 questions
listed in the article to ask the hiring manager. After the interview,
write a 750-1000 word reflection that includes: a. Title Page –
Include the assignment name, college name, your name, and date b. As a
general rule in academic writing, paragraphs should be approximately 6
sentences long and include a topic sentence, supporting sentences, and
a concluding sentence. Paragraph 1: (1 paragraph): Background
information about the company, the hiring manager, and how the company
correlates to your chosen career field. Paragraph 2-3: (1-2
paragraphs): Summarize the main ideas or themes that emerged from your
interview with the hiring. Avoid writing a script (e.g. Then, I asked
her…..and she responded…..). Paragraph 3-4: (1-2 paragraphs): An
analysis paragraph of what you learned from interviewing the hiring
manager. How will the information you learned in the interview help
you as you prepare for future job interviews in your career field? c.
Appendix with a list of your interview questions. d. Use the template
Preview the document provided for your paper. As noted above, the
paper will include a title page, the body of your paper, and an
appendix that lists the interview questions. Do not change the font or
the margins. Times New Roman, 12 pitch is the standard for APA. Make
sure paragraphs are double spaced. To edit the running head, double
