Strategic value for employee benefits programs The companies must establish what an employee wants from the working relationship in order to recruit, motivate and keep good workers. One way to describe employee needs is to evaluate “total rewards,” which are everything that an employee sees as valuable as a result of the company’s efforts. Benefits are a vital feature of overall rewards and the continually expanding offering package has evolved. You must now work with the company to clearly identify the category of the different programs.
Write a six- to seven-page paper, containing at least three significant aspects that firms should nearly always consider when offering benefits for employees. Make sure the answer is specific and relevant.
Compare and compare income protection schemes and pay for programs that have not worked for time, both of which are common features of benefits programmes. How do the programs look like? Are they compulsory?
Search and discuss, for the benefit package, at least four to five of the “Other Benefits” that can be recommended to the management team. Hint: Examples are flextime and discounts on products or services.
To ensure that you support the selection of program elements, develop an employee benefits package for whatever exempt or not exempt position level you choose. Note: The best technique for presenting information on your benefit package is by using a table or display, but no approach is necessary. Examples: US Bank Sight Benefits and Summary of New Employee Benefits of UW-Madison.
