Description / paper instructions

Using a lesson plan in the curriculum area/workshop (disposition) that you have taught on practicum or written for a class, write a Differentiated Instruction Plan for the lesson. The lesson plan must be approved by the instructor and attached to the Differentiated Instruction Plan. Demonstrate how you will use differentiation, accommodations, modifications, and assistive devices, to ensure a child with special needs achieves the learning goals and objectives. You will show the adaptations needed for a student with special needs – not for the whole class. Use the Differentiated Instruction Plan to show the changes you will make to the lesson plan in order for the student to meet the learning outcomes and actively participate in the lesson.
