Introduction
Digital Marketing refers to advertising delivered through digital channels such as search engines, websites, social media, email, and mobile apps.” Digital marketing is a pervasive method that allows for companies to monitor when their products are reviewed, how often and for how long. Businesses can access real time “reviews” on campaigns to figure out which methods/schemes are and aren’t successful as they are being ran. Digital marketing also allows for ad personalization using these same methods.
Some of the problems that are faced with digital marketing are security risks, where there can be software crashes, third party hacks & stolen info.Cluttered markets where due to the relatively cheap costs of digital marketing as opposed to that of traditional media, any business of any creed can utilize these methods. A direct consequence of this is that it has become increasingly difficult to capture the attention of potential consumers. Specificity of ads that may cause them to not be viewed because of keywords that may not much of to ads that are searched up on the web. Increased ad cost. This is where in order to achieve the exposure you’re trying to receive, you must pay the cost so that it can be seen broadly. Others should care about this problem because the world of digital marketing is always changing and with the innovation of it there can be many new rules, methods, and tactics to make digital marketing successful or unsuccessful.
One thing that i think others wouldnt understand about digital marketing is that it’s not as easy as it seems to just operate. There’s many different components you must have clicking on all cylinders . you must also have resources to evn just get started in digital marketing. Digital marketing is a process and takes patience to get rolling. Trying to reach a mass can be a tough cookie to handle and it takes all resources to allocate. Digital marketing is like a car where everything must work together for it to even drive. When it comes to business , companies want to be noticed they want to bring in new clientele but how can they achieve that without knowing how digital marketing operates. Digital marketing is the new go-to to broadly advertise something but without proper knowledge on how it works how can a business or entrepreneur become successful from digital advertising. Companies can lose profits if not done the right way. The position im taking with this research is to help companies or entrepreneurs maximize profits while using digital marketing. I plan on pointing out the flaws and also the positives of digital marketing. I want to be able to explain how it can be your foe if you don’t strategize right and just jump into it blindly and how it can be a great acquaintance if you know how to utilize this component.
